IQAC Quality Initiatives to Improve Infrastructure and Teaching Learning Process for Third Cycle of NAAC Accreditation
IQAC of the institution has contributed to bring improvement in infrastructure and the Teaching Learning Process through the following ways:
- At the beginning of every academic year, the Principal gives direction through a notice to the IQAC Coordinator, all HODs, and teachers to prepare Department-wise Time-Tables based on the workload of the department and sync it with the master timetable of the college.
- Preparation of Department-wise Strategic Perspective Plan and Curriculum Perspective Plan.
- Preparation of the college calendar of events in consultation with the Coordinator and Chairman of various committees and cells which are working under the College Student Council. The IQAC Coordinator is asked to monitor its effective implementation.
- Encouragement for faculties to attend Refresher Courses, Orientation Courses, national and state level seminars to update their knowledge and engage in research work.
- In addition to traditional teaching methods (chalk talk), faculties are motivated to use ICT and techno-savvy tools, including interactive approaches like screening of films, adoption of novels, and upgrading the language lab and computer lab.
- Short-term workshop training is organized for newly recruited staff.
- To enrich the knowledge of students, IQAC organizes seminars and special lectures and arranges interactions with eminent persons visiting the institution.
- Faculties are instructed to carry out internships and field projects to provide practical knowledge to students.
- Based on the Feedback Analysis Committee Report about student feedback on teachers, IQAC informs the concerned teachers through the Principal to make necessary corrections and improvements in their teaching and learning processes.
- Based on student feedback on courses, suggestions for necessary changes are communicated to the concerned department of the affiliated university through the Principal.
- IQAC suggests to the management, through the Principal, the development of infrastructure, ICT facilities, and recruitment to sanctioned vacant posts, creating a conducive atmosphere for effective and quality teaching and learning processes in the institution.
