Career Guidance and Placement Cell
Since 2006-07, the Placement Cell at Sri Gavisiddeshwar Arts, Science, and Commerce College (B Grade) has been dedicated to training and placing students in top MNCs, banks, educational institutions, and state civil services. The cell offers year-round career counseling, organizes workshops on resume writing, interview skills, group discussions, and conducts mock interviews and aptitude tests. Students also participate in pre-placement talks and on-campus recruitment drives. Additionally, the cell facilitates internships, part-time job opportunities, and maintains strong connections with alumni to provide current industry insights.

Career Guidance for Competitive Examination Reports
Duties
- To organise career oriented workshops for the outgoing students.
- To organise coaching classes for competitive exams by inviting experts.
- To organise programmes to create awareness on the importance of higher education in India and abroad.
- To invite industries and companies for Campus placements.
- To provide details of campus placements.
- To conduct awareness programmes on entrepreneurship skills for students.
- To invite experienced academicians, leading professionals with extensive corporate experience to address the students and thereby facilitate practical learning.
- To arrange industrial visits to get practical exposure and knowledge of the industrial environment.
- To maintain the records of the attendance compiled and submit the same to the IQAC Committee.
